Word Book Day at Scribbles

On Thursday 2nd March we celebrated World Book Day. We loved seeing the children dress up as their favourite book characters.

Throughout the day we read lots of books, and talked about them. The children got to stand up and speak about their favourite characters and show their books off that they brought in.

In the afternoon we had a special visit from a resident at Welad Hall Care Home. Gwen, aka Mary Poppins loved getting to see all the children dressed up as their favourite book characters, and we had a fantastic time meeting her. Thank you for visitng us!
