Enrollment Information
At Scribbles Day Nursery North Weald we strive to provide a nurturing and supportive environment for your child to learn and grow. Our admissions process is designed to ensure a smooth transition for your child into our nursery. For more details on enrolment, feel free to get in touch with us.

Complete the Enquiry using the link above. This will be submitted to our occupancy team who will process your information and check availability on our system.

Book your personal tour
Occupancy will be in touch to book a a personal tour for you to attend a your chosen setting.

Securing a space
If you wish to secure a space for your little one. Once availability is confirmed, you will be sent a registration form which needs to be completed. A registration fee is required. Once we receive the form and the fee we can secure your space.

Settling in and starting at Scribbles
Check your eligibility at: www.gov.uk/apply-free-childcare-if-youre-working
Complete the Parent agreement form promptly which we will provide you with.
Once your eligibility is confirmed and your form is completed we will apply for your funding. Each term has a pre-determined headcount day which means your child’s funded hours cannot be transferred after this day and cannot be amended.

What will my child need?
Your child will be given a Scribbles rucksack which they can use for nursery. You will need to bring the following:
Dummy/comforter
Sleep aids - teddy, muslin, sleep bag, blanket
Spare clothes - including socks, vests, underwear
Weather-appropriate clothing - hats, gloves, sun hat, sun cream.
Nappies are provided
Named labelled water bottle

Additional services
At Scribbles, we use a system called Eylog which we send messages, alerts about events and communicate through daily diaries and observations.
Funding information
9 Month & 2 Year Funding
9+ months and 2 year old funding is also available to working parents who meet the criteria.
3 & 4 Year Funding
All 3 and 4 year olds are entitled to 15 hours universal funding from the term after their 3rd birthday. The extended 15 hours are also available to parents of 3 and 4 year olds who meet the criteria.
